Universal’s Water Park – Volcano Bay
Things are changing. No more long queues. When you arrive at the park, you’ll be given a complimentary TapuTapu wearable to use during the day. Instead of waiting in a queue to get on the popular water slides, this innovative band allows you to virtually wait in line. With one simple tap, you’ll be able to enter the virtual line experience and continue to explore the rest of the park until it’s your turn to ride. The wearable will then give you an alert with plenty of time to get back to your chosen attraction.
That’s not all though, the high-tech TapuTapu gives you the ability to trigger a number of amazing special effects throughout the park! We don’t want to give too much away, but if you’re planning a visit, you have to check out the cave of starlight, where you’ll be able to reveal illuminated secret messages on the cave walls with just a wave of your wrist.
Spanning over 28-acres, Volcano Bay will be a tropical oasis packed with exhilarating attractions. The park’s centerpiece is the spectacular 200-foot-tall Krakatau volcano that erupts with bubbling lava. The main attraction- the Krakatau Aqua Coaster, sends you racing right through the middle of the volcano. Be warned though, this is only for the most daring of thrill seekers! If you’re looking for something a bit tamer, you can laze the day away in one of the park’s luxurious cabanas instead.
