As of April 2025, SeaWorld Orlando is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a host of new attractions, shows, and experiences. Here’s what’s new at the park:
🧊 Expedition Odyssey – Opening Spring 2025
This groundbreaking Arctic-themed flying theater ride offers an immersive journey through icy landscapes, featuring dynamic motion, state-of-the-art visuals, and up-close encounters with Arctic wildlife. Guests will experience soaring over glaciers, diving beneath frozen waters, and encountering majestic creatures like beluga whales, orcas, and walruses. The adventure continues post-ride with real-life animal encounters, including the park’s newest resident, Uki the orphaned walrus calf.
🐧 Penguin Trek – Opened July 2024
A family-friendly launched roller coaster that simulates an Antarctic snowmobile expedition. With both indoor and outdoor sections, the ride provides an exhilarating experience through snowy terrains and icy caverns.

SeaWorld is commemorating its 60th anniversary with a series of special events and offerings:

🦭 Meet Uki the Walrus
An orphaned walrus calf named Uki, rescued from Alaska, has found a new home at SeaWorld Orlando. After extensive rehabilitation, Uki is now part of the walrus herd in the new Expedition Odyssey habitat, offering guests a chance to learn about her inspiring journey.
